JOB DETAILS:
BACKHOE OPERATOR
Job Purpose
To operate backhoe loaders for excavation, trenching, loading, drainage and general estate-development activities.
Key Duties
- Conduct equipment inspections.
- Operate the backhoe safely.
- Excavate trenches and drainage channels.
- Load and move materials.
- Support utility and infrastructure works.
- Maintain worksite safety.
- Perform basic daily maintenance.
- Record machine hours.
- Report equipment faults.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant operator qualification/licence.
- Proven backhoe operating experience.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
