JOB DETAILS:

Reporting To: Principal Investigator

Duty Station: NIMR Mwanza Centre (with regular visits to study sites)

Duties and Responsibilities

• To conduct phlebotomy for various tests.
• To conduct clinical examinations of recruited participants.
• To conduct anthropometric measurements among recruited participants.
• To administer data collection activities using electronic devices.
• To perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualification and Competence

• A Diploma-level training in nursing from a recognized training institution, and holding a practicing license.
• At least two years’ work experience in nursing or clinical research.
• Experience in drawing blood for investigations.
• Experience in conducting anthropometric measurements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Kiswahili and English.
• Computer literacy.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
