JOB DETAILS:

Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI) is offering an internship placement programme aimed at skills enhancement.

Responsibilities or duties,

• Perform specified plumbing craft jobs under close supervision.
• Record plumbing repair and maintenance reports.
• Assist in conducting plumbing repair and maintenance activities.
• Assist in ensuring the safety and security of plumbing facilities and personnel.
• Take care of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements 

Form IV or Form VI Certificate of Secondary Education, plus:

• Certificate in Plumbing; or
• Trade Test II in Plumbing; or
• National Vocational Award Level II (NVA II) in Plumbing; or
• Equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Work Hours: 8

Experience: No Requirements
