We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of:

1. Accountant-Payable

Purpose: The job entails processing supplier payments; both foreign and local and preparing the daily cash report. The Accountant also ensures compliance and timely payments of all taxes including VAT, Withholding tax, corporate tax and instalment tax for MCL.

Main Responsibilities:

• Keep track of all payments and expenditures include purchasing orders, invoices and statements.
• Ensuring the timely preparation, payment and filing of tax returns for MCL, such as VAT, Withholding tax and Corporate Tax;
• Monitoring payment processing as per payment plan and timely batching of supplier and processing of statutory and utility bills payment.
• Management of suppliers account by ensure all regular suppliers have account in the system.
• Capturing of expenses on timely basis for matching concept and ensure invoice have proper approval, stamped at all categories before posting.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
• Ensuring timely and correctly preparation of audit schedule monthly each 15th day of the month.
• Processing payments of customs duty. This includes facilitating importing documents for raw materials suppliers and settling the bills of exchange that fall due.
• Requesting supplier statement on monthly basis and regular application of invoices and Payment.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 3+ years.
• Professional: CPA
