JOB DETAILS:
The Role
The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and servicing of the company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnosis tests on equipment to establish efficient and effective ways and methods of repair and maintenance applicable.
- Define strategies to curb recurrences of preventable faults and breakdowns.
- Promptly and appropriately actions and facilitate breakdown, accident, and incident rescue operations at the most efficiency and cost minimization.
- Ensure that both Preventive and Corrective maintenance are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification and the company’s standards.
- Prepare and analyze maintenance reports to identify areas of improvement, cost reduction, and fleet longevity measures.
- Inspect to ensure that the spare parts received and installed on trucks and equipment are genuine, proper, and meet the required standards.
Requirement
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral forms to both internal and external parties.
- Ability to study and effectively solve technical problems.
- Ability to promote team spirit among staff at different levels.
- Must have a good understanding of the business environment and model; and the impact of actions or omissions in the process of day to day operations.
- Must be able to treat all employees with dignity and principle.
- Must be excellent performer in Workplace etiquette.
