JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: The Workshop Manager oversees the maintenance and repair of all company equipment and machinery, ensuring maximum operational availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage the workshop team, including mechanics, electricians, and assistants.
• Control the workshop budget, including parts inventory, tools, and labor costs.
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs, service records, and equipment history.
• Source and manage relationships with parts suppliers and external service providers.
  Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in maintaining heavy equipment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of port and heavy logistics equipment.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
