JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary: The Workshop Manager Assistant supports the Workshop Manager in the daily operations of the workshop, focusing on coordination, parts management, and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate parts inventory, place orders, and manage stock levels.
- Schedule maintenance jobs and allocate tasks to the workshop technicians.
- Assist in preparing maintenance reports, cost analyses, and documentation.
- Supervise technicians and oversee work quality in the absence of the Workshop Manager.
- Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications & Experience: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or technician, with some coordination or team lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of parts and inventory management.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: associate degree
