Background

Axian Group is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Treasury, Cash Management, Funding Manager based in Dar es Salaam. The company is looking for a highly motivated individual capable of managing treasury operations, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting strategic financial planning within the organization.

The Treasury, Cash Management, Funding Manager will be responsible for overseeing cash flow forecasting, reconciliation of collections, funding operations, and treasury reporting activities. The successful candidate will ensure efficient liquidity management, compliance with financial regulations, and effective coordination with stakeholders to support the organization’s financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships
• Administer loan facilities and debt obligations
• Oversee debt and financing management activities
• Manage treasury risks, reporting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with treasury regulations and BOT foreign exchange requirements
• Coordinate operational treasury activities and stakeholder engagements
• Prepare timely and accurate MIS reports
• Monitor financial transactions and treasury operations
• Support financial planning and funding strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• CPA (T) or equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA, CFA, or CTP
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Treasury Management, Corporate Finance, Telecom Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical and financial management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
