RE-ADVERTISED-VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL)
Alfa Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Dar es Salaam, is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Technician (Electrical) to join our Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and systems and equipment.
- Handle operations and maintenance within the utility area, including boilers and related equipment.
- Carry out Gas SS (Stainless Steel) welding and associated fabrication works.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure minimal downtime of production and utility systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with safety, GMP, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and utility operations (including boilers).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
