About the Role:
The primary role of the Stock Controller is to control, record and report raw material and finished-feed stocks, ensuring accurate inventory records, FIFO compliance, minimal variances and losses, and reliable stock information for production, procurement and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control raw material and finished-feed stocks, including bulk and bagged materials and 50 kg finished-feed bags.
- Coordinate stock records, physical counts, variance investigation and reconciliation.
- Support safe and efficient raw material reception, offloading, internal movements and finished-goods loading.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and stock rotation in line with FIFO principles.
- Coordinate with production, stores, logistics, quality and procurement to maintain stock accuracy and minimise losses.
- Support raw material planning and inventory reporting and ensure compliance with quality, food safety and HSE standards.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Diploma in Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field; relevant stock-control experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant stock-control, inventory-management or warehouse-administration experience in manufacturing/feed milling.
- 2 years’ experience controlling raw materials and finished goods in a continuous-production environment.
- Experience with bulk and bagged materials, physical stock counts, variance investigation, ERP stock entries and FIFO.
- Strong Excel/ERP skills, inventory KPI knowledge, analytical ability, integrity and English communication
