JOB DETAILS:
Africa Relief and Community Development is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their team.
Responsibilities or duties
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of community development and humanitarian programs.
- Conduct community outreach, assessments, and beneficiary engagement activities.
- Prepare activity reports and maintain accurate program records.
- Assist in case management, referrals, and follow-up of beneficiaries where applicable.
- Support awareness campaigns, training sessions, and community mobilization activities.
- Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Perform other program-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, Development Studies, Psychology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with 0–3 years of relevant experience may apply.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
