Background information about the job or company
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Sales Officer – European Trucks who will be responsible for driving sales of European truck brands, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service while achieving set sales targets.
Responsibilities or duties
- Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients interested in purchasing European trucks.
- Execute effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, understand market trends, and gather competitor intelligence.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Follow up with potential leads, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deal closures.
- Coordinate with the finance and logistics departments to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales service to clients.
- Maintain an updated customer database and sales pipeline reports.
- Participate in trade shows, marketing campaigns, and exhibitions to promote the company’s truck brands.
- Provide product knowledge, technical specifications, and recommendations to clients based on their operational needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt resolution of complaints and provision of reliable after-sales support.
- Prepare periodic sales reports for management review and forecasting.
Qualifications or requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales within the automotive industry, preferably dealing with trucks or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Good understanding of European truck brands (e.g., Scania, Volvo, MAN, Mercedes-Benz) is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- High level of integrity, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
