About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our sales department. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of sales strategies and a passion for the agricultural or FMCG sectors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Sales Officer will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Providing excellent customer service and support.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
- Preparing sales reports and forecasts.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field sales.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling agricultural or FMCG products is an added advantage.
- Strong customer acquisition and retention skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- A valid driving license is an added advantage.
Work Environment
This role involves significant fieldwork, requiring travel to meet clients and explore new markets. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to achieving common goals.
