Position Summary

The Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth, increasing plant revenue and profitability, and expanding market presence. The role focuses on business development, customer relationship management, marketing strategy development and execution, and promotion of grain cleaning, grading, and packaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales and marketing activities to increase plant sales, revenue, and profitability
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with grain buyers, traders, exporters, government institutions, and for-profit grain actors
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contracts, and service deals
• Develop clear and effective sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
• Implement approved marketing strategies and monitor performance
• Promote grain cleaning, grading, and packaging services to traders, buyers, exporters, and retailers
• Conduct market research to identify gaps, trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
• Analyze market information and recommend improvements to sales and marketing approaches
• Prepare sales reports, market intelligence reports, and performance updates for management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field
• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in agribusiness or grain trade
• Strong understanding of grain value chains and market dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to develop and implement practical marketing strategies
• Strong analytical and market research skills
• Results-oriented with strong initiative and accountability
• Willingness to travel and engage with field and market stakeholders
