Job Purpose

To ensure that all aluminium products manufactured in the factory meet the company’s quality standards, technical specifications, and client requirements before delivery and installation. The Quality Control Officer is responsible for monitoring production processes, inspecting finished products, and ensuring compliance with company quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspection and Control

  • Inspect raw aluminium materials, accessories, and components before production to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality checks during fabrication, cutting, assembling, and finishing processes.
  • Inspect finished aluminium products such as doors, windows, partitions, stair railings, shower enclosures, and balconies before they leave the factory.
  • Ensure all products meet approved drawings, measurements, and client specifications.

Production Process Monitoring

  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure proper fabrication techniques are followed.
  • Ensure correct use of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, and accessories.
  • Verify that machines and tools used in production maintain required precision and standards.

Defect Identification and Correction

  • Identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies in products.
  • Work closely with production teams to correct defects and prevent recurrence.
  • Reject products that do not meet company quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain quality inspection reports for raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
  • Document defects, corrective actions taken, and improvement recommendations.
  • Submit regular quality reports to management.

Compliance with Company Standards

  • Ensure production follows company quality policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards within the factory.

Measurement and Technical Verification

  • Verify product dimensions, alignment, finishing quality, and installation readiness.
  • Ensure accurate cutting, assembly, and finishing of aluminium frames and structures.
  • Use measuring tools to confirm precision and tolerances.

Coordination with Departments

  • Work closely with the Production Manager, Designers, and Installation Teams.
  • Communicate quality issues and recommend improvements to the production process.

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
  • Participate in quality control training and development programs.
  • Help develop quality control checklists and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in aluminium fabrication, metal works, or construction manufacturing.

Knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass installation, and hardware accessories.

Required Skills

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.

Knowledge of quality inspection procedures.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
