Predictive Model ML/AI Specialist
Education requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience requirements
5+ years of experience in ML/AI roles, with at least 2 years in a team lead capacity overseeing end-to-end model delivery.
Telecom analytics experience strongly preferred familiarity with CDR data, subscriber lifecycle, churn modelling & CVM.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with the Commercial Director and senior stakeholders to define and prioritise the AI/ML use case roadmap aligned to commercial objectives including churn prevention, revenue uplift, customer segmentation, propensity modelling and campaign optimisation.
- Establish and enforce ML model governance frameworks covering model validation, bias assessment, explainability standards, version control and production acceptance criteria.
- Ensure ML model outputs are embedded into commercial workflows: campaign management systems, CRM platforms, BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau), and customer-facing channels enabling real-time, insight-driven decisions.
- Ensure all AI/ML systems and data pipelines comply with applicable data protection regulations, including PDPA Tanzania, TCRA directives, and GDPR-aligned group standards

- Sufficient ML/AI depth to guide architecture decisions, challenge assumptions, and quality-assure model outputs to DevOps, CI/CD practices, and product delivery models.
