Power Group Technologies Tz Ltd specializes in providing power systems, infrastructure solutions, and related technical services across the region. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

While the original focuses heavily on qualifications, the role involves overseeing operations in a technical/engineering environment. This includes:

• Managing multiple projects, site teams, and supervisors simultaneously
• Handling project planning, budgeting, and resource management
• Setting, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and teams
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in operational settings
• Providing strong leadership, communication, and reporting

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (required)
• A Master’s degree or professional certification in Project Management or Operations Management is an added advantage
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in operations or project management within a technical or engineering environment
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects, site teams, and supervisors at the same time
• Strong background in project planning, budgeting, and resource management
• Demonstrated ability to set, monitor, and report on KPIs for projects and teams
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and quality compliance in operational environments
• Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
• Minimum age of 45 years
