JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall efficiency and productivity of the facility's daily operations, including port, warehouse, yard, and logistics activities. This role is critical for ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational activities to meet company goals.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Manage, mentor, and allocate resources for operational teams (warehouse, port, yard, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor operational performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgets and control operational costs.
• Liaise with key clients, vendors, and government authorities (e.g., Port Authority, Customs).
  Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a port, logistics, or shipping environment.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a large, diverse team.
• Strong knowledge of terminal operating systems (TOS) and logistics software.
