JOB DETAILS:
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Develop OHS programs in line with Tanzanian laws & international best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits & workplace inspections across all sites.
- Identify workplace hazards & implement preventive & corrective safety measures.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis & corrective action implementation.
- Promote safety awareness & proactive risk management culture across all departments.
- Monitor workplace health conditions & occupational health risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Safety, Health & Environment roles working in agribusiness, or food & beverage is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
- Strong communication, training, and presentation skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
