JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Medical Officer In-Charge of the Regional Referral Hospital, Bukoba, invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for the following volunteer positions.
Responsibilities
- To provide nursing services
- To collect important health statistics
- To guide nurses under him/her
- To educate patients and the community about their health problems
- To provide preventive and reproductive health services
- To perform other duties assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills.
Qualifications
- Should have Form IV or VI education and a Certificate/Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized college.
- Should be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
Additional Details
- Employment is voluntary for a period of one year.
- After the one-year period ends, a volunteer youth who has demonstrated efficiency in performance may have their contract renewed.

- Must be the rightful owner of academic certificates.
- Must have two referees who are public servants.
- Must be ready to volunteer in the relevant area.
- Must not have been convicted by a Court for criminal or disciplinary offenses.
- Must have good conduct and behavior acceptable to society, and
- Must not have been employed in any Public Institution since completing studies.
All application letters should be attached with photocopies of birth certificates, NIDA ID, education and skill certificates, a CV with two referees, a valid license, a letter from the Village/Ward/Local Government leader, and one (1) color passport-size photo.
