Network Presales Engineer
The Network Presales Engineer is a dual-function role blending deep technical expertise with commercial acumen. This “Technosales” position is dedicated to increasing the Network Business Unit’s revenue by partnering with the sales team to design, pitch, and secure complex, niche ICT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will act as the technical authority during the sales cycle, ensuring proposed solutions meet client needs while maximizing profitability and leveraging strategic OEM partnerships (such as Huawei, Cisco, and Arista).
Duties (100% of time)
Pre-Sales Technical Support
- Work with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
Bid Management & Proposal Writing
- Take technical ownership of RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, ensuring strict compliance with client specifications.
Vendor Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Maintain active knowledge of vendor portfolios, particularly maximizing margins and rebates through authorized partner tiers (e.g., Huawei, Cisco, HPE Network).
Sales Enablement & Client Engagement
- Partner with KAMs (BFSI, Private, Government) to identify and qualify new business opportunities for the Network Business Unit.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design comprehensive, scalable, and secure network architectures encompassing Network, Security, Unified Communication, and Physical Security solutions.
Lead Generation and Revenue Forecasting
- Presales will be required to look for and close deals, which will be bound to monthly performance KPI.
Knowledge / Qualifications for the Role
Required Professional Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Required Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification
- BSc. Computer Information Systems or similar degree
- CCNA, HCIA, NSE4, ET01, ET15
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Work with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
