Background

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Attendant to provide medical care in our healthcare facility. Medical attendant is responsible for recording vital signs, assisting doctors with a diagnosis, and completing paperwork. To be successful as a Medical attendant you must be patient and have excellent attention to detail. A good Medical attendant keeps all patient information confidential and provides care without prejudice.

Responsibilities

• assisting with patient mobility, hygiene
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
• feeding, transporting patients and equipment, maintaining ward cleanliness and restocking supplies
• providing general support to healthcare professionals and patients

Qualifications

• Certificate of medical attendant
• Prior experience as medical attendant
• A qualification in medical attendant
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts.
• Patience with difficult patients.
• Compassion for patients.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
