Job Description

• Install printing plates, cylinders, and blankets correctly to ensure smooth machine operation and print quality.
• Load paper and adjust feeders, guides, and conveyors to ensure proper paper travel throughout the printing process.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor ink supplies, including accurate color mixing as per production requirements.
• Adjust ink flow and printing parameters to achieve precise color matching and maintain print quality standards.
• Operate the printing machine efficiently while ensuring color consistency, print registration accuracy, and production targets are met.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the printing machine to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press regularly in accordance with maintenance schedules and operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot operational and quality issues, identify root causes, and take corrective actions to maintain productivity.
• Follow all safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies while operating the equipment.
• Maintain accurate production logs, machine performance records, and material usage reports.
• Monitor machine performance and report any mechanical or electrical abnormalities to the relevant department.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained around the machine and work area at all times.
• Minimize material wastage and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
