Background information about the job or company:

Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo) is a Constituent College of Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA). The University College is headquartered at Masoka Village, 14 km north of Moshi Municipality in Kilimanjaro Region. SMMUCo intends to resume admission of students in the next academic year (2026/27). As part of the preparations, the College wishes to recruit competent, dynamic, and experienced lecturers and assistant lecturers to teach in the Bachelor of Arts in Community Development program.

Responsibilities or duties:

• - Teach undergraduate students.
• - Supervise and mentor undergraduate students.
• - Participate in research, consultancies, and dissemination of research findings.
• - Engage in functional outreach works.
• - Provide leadership role to the university college.

Qualifications or requirements:

• - Holders of PhD and GPA of 3.5 or above at Bachelor’s Degree and 4.0 or above at Master’s Degree majoring in any of the above specialties for Lecturers.
• - Holders of Master’s Degree in any of the above specialties with GPA of 3.5 or above at Bachelor’s Degree and 4.0 or above at Master’s Degree for Assistant Lecturers.
