Responsibilities or duties

i. Sort clothes and other laundry items for washing and drying, ironing and packaging.

ii. Maintain all equipment related to laundry services.

iii. Perform any other duties related to his/her education, experience and skills as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements

The applicant must have completed Form Four education and successfully completed two or three years of training in Laundry Services from a Government-recognized institution.

• Sort clothes and other laundry items for washing and drying, ironing and packaging.
• Maintain all equipment related to laundry services.
• Perform any other duties related to his/her education, experience and skills as assigned by the supervisor.

• Completed Form Four education
• Successfully completed two or three years of training in Laundry Services from a Government-recognized institution.
• Tanzanian citizen aged 18 years or above and not exceeding 35 years.
• Rightful owner of the academic and professional certificates submitted.
• Willing to volunteer in the respective work area.
• Must not have previously been convicted by a court of law for a criminal or disciplinary offence.
• Good conduct and character acceptable to the community.
• Must not have previously been employed by any Public Institution since completing his/her studies.
• Applicants whose professions require registration with their respective professional boards must attach registration certificates and valid licences.
