LAND SURVEYOR
Job Purpose
To conduct surveys, establish boundaries, provide accurate measurements and support planning and development of agricultural estates and related infrastructure.
Key Duties
- Conduct topographical and boundary surveys.
- Establish site reference points and benchmarks.
- Produce accurate survey measurements.
- Support land subdivision and development planning.
- Prepare maps and survey drawings.
- Use GPS, total stations, levels and other surveying equipment.
- Set out roads, irrigation systems, drainage and other infrastructure.
- Verify land levels and gradients.
- Maintain survey records and field notes.
- Coordinate with engineers, farm officers and land-development teams.
- Ensure survey data is accurate and properly documented.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics or related discipline.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable.
- Proficiency in surveying equipment and relevant software.
