Job Summary:

To perform routine physical and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure they meet specified quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect samples from production lines as per sampling plan.
• Perform standard laboratory tests (e.g., dimensional checks, weight, hardness, basic chemical tests).
• Operate and maintain basic lab equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, ovens, pH meters).
• Accurately record test results in lab notebooks or digital systems.
• Immediately report out-of-specification results to the QC Supervisor.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper chemical handling.
• Assist in calibrating lab equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Mandatory: VETA Certificate as a Laboratory Assistant.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Experience in a manufacturing lab environment is preferred.
