Background
Axian Group is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Key Account Manager based in Dar es Salaam. The company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual capable of building strong customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring high-quality service delivery within the telecommunications sector.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for strategic account management, project coordination, customer relationship development, and commercial negotiations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term business partnerships while supporting revenue growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships at operational and executive levels
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely closure of commercial agreements and renewals
- Coordinate with rollout, technical, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely site delivery
- Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction across all managed sites
- Monitor account performance and business growth opportunities
- Support strategic planning and customer retention initiatives
- Resolve client issues and provide effective problem-solving solutions
- Prepare reports and updates on account activities and project progress
- Collaborate with internal departments to achieve organizational objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management, Commerce, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- MBA or Commercial Certifications will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of the Tanzania Telecom Ecosystem
- Strong understanding of business administration laws and principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong customer relationship management abilities
- Problem-solving and project coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
