Jaz Elite Aurora Resort, a leading hospitality destination in Zanzibar, is recruiting passionate professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences in one of Tanzania's fastest-growing tourism markets.

Responsibilities

• HACCP Management: Develop, implement, and monitor HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) systems across all food production areas.
• Audits: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of kitchens, storage, and housekeeping practices. Prepare the property for external health authority inspections.
• Training: Train all food handling staff on hygiene practices, personal grooming, and safe food storage.
• Temperature Control: Monitor refrigerator, freezer, and hot-holding temperatures to prevent spoilage.
• Pest Control: Collaborate with the Pest Control Supervisor to ensure premises are free from infestations and reports are documented.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate any hygiene-related complaints or foodborne illness reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• Certified HACCP Lead Auditor.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Detail-oriented with strong report-writing skills.
