JOB DETAILS:

The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is vested with the responsibility of Maintenance and Development of the Trunk and Regional Roads Network in Tanzania Mainland. It is also responsible in conducting Axle Load Control Operations using weighbridge scales.

The Regional Manager TANROADS Kilimanjaro on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS is looking for qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant posts available for the Project for Upgrading of Same – Kisiwani – Mkomazi (100.5 km) Road to Bitumen Standard; Lot 2: Ndungu – Mkomazi Section (36 km) in Kilimanjaro Region.

Qualifications or requirements

Must be a Tanzanian Citizen who is a holder of Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution. Must be registered with ERB as Professional Engineer and have a current practicing license. Postgraduate qualification in Highway Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience needed

Must have a cumulative working experience of at least seven (7) years in road construction designs and/or supervision. Must have served as the Highway Engineer designs or equivalent supervision capacity in at least two (2) road and bridges construction projects of similar nature and magnitude in the last 10 years.

Any other provided details

Proficiency in written and spoken Swahili and English is mandatory.
