Role overview
The Head of Technology will set and execute the company’s technology strategy and architecture while leading software engineering, infrastructure and DevOps.
Main responsibilities
- Set and execute the company’s technology strategy and architecture.
- Lead software engineering, infrastructure and DevOps.
- Translate product requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
- Manage technology vendors, budget and technical risk.
- Build and lead a high-performing Technology team.
- Manage, coach and develop team members, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.
Qualifications and experience
- 5+ years in technology/software engineering, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, architecture and security.
- Fluent in English and Swahili.
