Background

Skill Up Advisory is conducting a confidential search for three senior leadership positions on behalf of a technology company based in Dar es Salaam. The available roles are Head of Product, Head of Operations and Head of Technology.

All three positions require experienced leaders who can manage teams, work across functions and turn business priorities into effective execution. Applications close on 20 September 2026 and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Role overview

The Head of Product will lead the company’s product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle while coordinating product development and launches across key business functions.

Main responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle.
• Lead product discovery, prioritization and requirements definition.
• Partner with Technology, Operations and Marketing to launch and scale products.
• Track product performance, analytics and KPIs.
• Build and lead a high-performing Product team.
• Manage, coach and develop team members, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.

Qualifications and experience

• 5+ years in product management, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s in Product Management, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with digital platforms, ticketing, fintech, or technology-enabled businesses.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
