Role overview

The Head of Operations will lead the operations function and translate strategy into execution, with responsibility for scalable operating models, performance standards and operational readiness.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the operations function and translate strategy into execution.
• Build scalable operating models, SOPs and performance standards.
• Oversee operational readiness for new products, services and launches.
• Manage operational risk, compliance and business continuity.
• Lead and develop the Operations team.
• Manage, coach and develop team members, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.

Qualifications and experience

• 5+ years in operations, logistics or service delivery, including 4+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or related field.
• Working knowledge of Tanzanian regulatory frameworks, including LATRA requirements.
• Strong process management, execution and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
