Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Job Purpose

To repair, design, and test all Wassha products’ hardware components by analyzing test data, eliminating errors, and modifying existing hardware devices.

Main Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities

Managing the team of Technicians and Operators in the respective zone.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Engineering Technicians to ensure delivery of a high standard of service to Wassha Inc.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor the execution accuracy of tasks performed by Engineering Technicians and Operators.
  • Support customers in all aspects of software, IT, networking, and database management within the zone.
  • Provide after-sales support to customers when necessary, identify inefficiencies, and ensure successful use of products and solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on equipment and perform repairs in the zone.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve hardware or software faults on-site.
  • Provide support for hardware and manage component obsolescence throughout its lifecycle.
  • Communicate with staff face-to-face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Replace parts and provide hardware electronic engineering support as required.
  • Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports for the zone.
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair faults or set up systems.
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties if appropriate).
  • Know what to do in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements

A. Academic and Professional Qualifications

Degree qualified in hardware engineering, electronic engineering, or related programs.

B. Experience

Proven work experience as an Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
