Job Summary

The HSE Supervisor supports the HSE Manager in implementing effective health, safety, and environmental programs across renewable energy project sites. The role involves site-level monitoring, supervision, and enforcement of HSE standards to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant work environment on solar, wind, hydro, and hybrid projects.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Monitor daily HSE activities on renewable energy sites to ensure compliance with project HSE plans.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and hazard identification.
  • Support incident investigations and ensure follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site HSE training for employees and contractors.
  • Assist in preparing HSE reports, performance statistics, and dashboards.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE, compliance with work permits, and adherence to safe operating procedures.
  • Promote safe working practices and a strong culture of environmental responsibility on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have a technical degree plus an international HSE diploma and a minimum of five (5) years experience as an HSE professional in solar projects or similar power plant/mega infrastructure works.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local HSE laws, renewable energy hazards, and safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate site teams in safety compliance.
