Taifa Gas is seeking Graduate Trainees to join its Operations team in Dar es Salaam. This program is designed for recent graduates who are eager to build practical experience in engineering operations while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities or duties
- Support daily operational activities within the assigned department.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining operational systems and equipment.
- Participate in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze operational data using Microsoft Excel and other business tools.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications or requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Registered Graduate Engineer status is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, internet applications, and email.
Experience needed
At least one year since graduation.
