JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: This role operates heavy equipment to move, stack, load, and unload containers and cargo safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, reach stackers, or other heavy machinery in a safe and professional manner.
• Move containers and cargo to and from vessels, trucks, and storage stacks as directed.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation checks on equipment and report any defects or issues.
• Ensure loads are secure and stable before moving them.
• Work closely with the Yard Supervisor to execute the daily stacking plan.
  Qualifications & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator in a port or logistics environment.
• Valid and up-to-date operator's license/certification for the relevant machinery.
• Excellent spatial awareness and a strong safety record.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
