Responsibilities or duties

The purpose of the Field Practical Trainee Program is to provide opportunities to young students who are in the second/third year of their college/university studies and are willing to offer their services to the company as part of their development. This will help the practical field trainees to translate their learned skills into practice while gaining on- the – job experience and giving them a better understanding of the workplace culture, values, and work ethics.

What will you do – Responsibilities:

  • Ensure to gain practical experience and exposure to real workplace operations in line with the assigned department’s activities.
  • Observe, learn and apply theoretical knowledge acquired from the academic institutions in a professional setting.
  • Participate in on-job training sessions, meetings and team discussions.
  • Deliver on assigned duties as part of the learning process.
  • Prepare and submit final presentation of the learned outcome to the company and the education institution.
  • Leverage on building professional networks that would add value to your professional journey.
  • Identify learning opportunities that contribute to your personal and professional development.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Who are we looking for – Requirements:

  • Must be a continuing student (2nd or 3rd year) pursuing bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution.
  • Good communication skills- verbal and written English and Swahili language.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel and Power point).
  • Show willingness to learn, accept feedback and improve performance
