Position: Electrical Engineer

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Reports To: Engineering Manager / Plant Manager

Job Summary:

To design, develop, supervise, and maintain electrical systems and projects across the plant, ensuring reliable power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems to support continuous production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, specify, and oversee installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
• Plan and manage electrical maintenance schedules and major repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and provide technical guidance to technicians.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with national codes and safety standards (e.g., TNBS).
• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including contractor supervision.
• Optimize energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements.
• Develop and update electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLC systems, and power distribution design.
