Job Purpose:

To provide primary emergency and non-emergency medical care to all personnel on site, manage the site clinic, and promote occupational health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-response emergency medical care and stabilize patients for evacuation.
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses and minor injuries.
• Manage the site clinic, including medical supplies, equipment, and records.
• Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as per standing orders.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and accurate medical records.
• Coordinate medical evacuations with management and external services.
• Assist the HSE team with health promotion, wellness programs, and incident investigations.
• Comply with all relevant healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered and licensed to practice with the national medical council.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Experience as a site medic in mining, oil & gas, or construction is essential.
• Advanced certifications in Trauma Life Support, Advanced First Aid, and Occupational Health.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
