JOB DETAILS:

CIVIL ENGINEER

Job Purpose

To provide technical engineering oversight for estate-development infrastructure, including roads, drainage, buildings, water systems and related civil works.

Key Duties

• Design and review civil engineering works.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Supervise contractors and construction teams.
• Monitor quality of construction works.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate road, drainage and infrastructure development.
• Review materials and construction methods.
• Monitor project schedules and costs.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical problems.
• Prepare progress and technical reports.
• Coordinate with surveyors, agriculture teams and machinery operators.
• Support procurement of construction materials.
• Maintain appropriate engineering documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Relevant professional registration where required.
• Experience in roads, drainage, earthworks, estate development or agricultural infrastructure is an advantage.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
