Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee our daily financial operations. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial records, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Your passion for excellence will help safeguard the financial health of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring vendors are paid promptly and receivables are collected.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure strict compliance with VAT, municipality fees, and other local tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Supervise junior finance team members, ensuring adherence to internal controls.
• Assist the Financial Controller in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or Chief Accountant, ideally within a hotel or large F&B group.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Micros, Opera, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy and financial excellence.
