JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary: The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in all facets of running the facility, providing direct supervision to teams and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager in planning and coordinating daily operational activities.
- Supervise shift operations and staff to ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Act on behalf of the Operations Manager in their absence.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, delays, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with the safety, security, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in an operational role within a port, warehouse, or logistics company, with some supervisory experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
