Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals for undergraduate programmes;
- To prepare and present case studies;
- To conduct and publish/disseminate research results;
- To participate/contribute in curriculum development;
- To recognize students having learning difficulties, intervene and provide assistance and support;
- To guide students in various academic issues;
- To participate in consultancy and community services under supervision; and
- To attend workshops, conferences and symposia.
Qualifications
Holder of Master of Science in Molecular Biology or Master of Science in Developmental Biology or Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology or Master of Science in Applied Zoology, Master of Science in Genetics and either a Bachelor Degree of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology or Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics or Bachelor of Science in Genetics or Bachelor of Science in Immunization and Microbiology or or Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from a recognized Academic Institution. The Candidate should poses a GPA of at least 4.0 points at Masters Level and a minimum GPA of 3.8 points (out of 5 points) at Undergraduate Level.
