JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Alignment Technician specializes in adjusting the angles of wheels to ensure they are set to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. This role is critical for ensuring tire longevity, vehicle handling, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate computerized alignment equipment to measure caster, camber, and toe angles.
• Inspect suspension and steering components (ball joints, tie rods) for wear before alignment.
• Adjust suspension mechanisms to bring angles within specified tolerances.
• Perform test drives to ensure proper steering and handling.
• Inspect tires for wear patterns to diagnose underlying suspension issues.
• Communicate alignment findings and recommendations to the service advisor.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in wheel alignment and suspension repair.
• Proficiency with modern alignment machines and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of steering and suspension systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Level of Education: professional certificate
