Job Description:

Department: Agriculture

Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Agriculture Admin will provide administrative and operational support to agricultural activities across the estate. The role will coordinate documentation, field records, workforce information, reports, and communication to ensure agricultural operations are properly recorded and efficiently supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate administrative records for daily agricultural and field operations.
  • Compile information on field activities, labour deployment, machinery utilization, inputs, and completed work.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly agriculture operational reports as required.
  • Maintain organized records of agricultural activities, field documents, attendance, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate administrative communication between field teams and management.
  • Assist with preparation of work schedules, meetings, operational documentation, and field requirements.
  • Enter and update agricultural operational data in spreadsheets or relevant systems.
  • Ensure agricultural records are properly filed, accurate, and available for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Agriculture, Records Management, Office Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in agriculture, farming, construction, or project operations.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong data-entry, record-keeping, filing, and reporting capabilities.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with field personnel and management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience supporting large-scale agricultural or field operations will be an added advantage.
