Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide extension education and services to farmers on their farms in order to obtain the best production;
• Assist farmers to make better decision in order to increase agricultural production;
• Advice farmers on how to save on the farming equipment and procedure,
• Assist farmers to comply with standard set for the crop production;
• Advising farmers on crop quality control;
• Advise farmers to adopt good crop farming practices;
• Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time
• Act as company secretary for the related matter.

Skills and Qualifications

Typically, extension officers hold a bachelor’s degree/diploma in agricultural science, agronomy, or related fields, Key skills include effective communication, adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and practical knowledge of farming systems.
