JOB DETAILS:
Background
Fakulin Agriculture Limited, a company engaged in the sale and distribution of agricultural inputs, located at Tabata Matumbi, Nelson Mandela Road, hereby invites applications from qualified and competent candidates to fill the position of Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper financial records and books of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
- Support management in budgeting and financial planning.
- Monitor and control company expenditures.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Have a minimum GPA of 4.0 (on a 5.0 or 7.0 grading scale, as applicable).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or any recognised accounting system.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with integrity, accuracy, and minimal supervision.
- Good command of both English and Swahili.
