JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To provide efficient, timely and safe transportation to all assigned locations
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSBILITIES
- To Drive Company Vehicles for official assignments
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of company vehicles
- Overseeing repairs and maintenance of vehicles including replacement of spare parts and general services
- Advice on status of insurance cover/TLB and other road traffic required documents
- Attend Drivers Committee meetings
- To operate handling equipment to support the needs of the business
- To ensure the serviceability of equipment prior to, and after use to ensure safety and serviceability of equipment
- To maintain required levels of certification/licensing to ensure safe and effective use of equipment
- To ensure safety & security of cargo ramp operations is in compliance with relevant legislative/industry requirements
- To ensure a healthy working environment in accordance with relevant industry and legislative requirements for personnel working in cargo ramp operations
- To ensure conformity with all regulatory requirements, organization standards and local procedures as well as requirements of customer airlines
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
Qualification Required:
Education
- Holder of PSV Certificate from NIT/Veta
- At least Ordinary level of Secondary education
- Valid driver's license with class C, C1, C2 and clean driving record
- Working in aviation field will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Must have up to 3 years driving experience in a reputable organization
- Good command of English and Kiswahili

Level of Education: bachelor degree
