Job Purpose:

Fabricate, repair, and weld metal components for machinery, implements, and structures to keep equipment operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate machine parts, trailers, implements, and structures.
• Repair cracked or broken metal components on tractors and heavy machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate welding methods (arc, MIG, TIG, gas) and materials.
• Cut, grind, bend, and shape metal as required.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain records of materials used and jobs completed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade certification in Welding/Fabrication (e.g., Grade 1/2).
• 3+ years' experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in agriculture/heavy machinery.

• Proficiency in arc, MIG, and gas welding
• Ability to read fabrication drawings
